My Review:
I loved this book! I thought it was great! I really liked the authors' use of detail and how she meshed the time period of 1672 and the year 2008 together. Also the fact that the book takes place in 1672 is another reason I like it because I like history. This book was really well written and enjoyed it alot. I would recomend this book to anyone and everyone!

I really loved this book! Keith Knight is a cartoonist and this book was a collection of his daily comic strips these strips are also semi autobiographical. So it was a different kind of book for me to read and review because even though i've read manga/anime i've never read a collection like this from an american catoonist and i've never reviewed a book like this so this is a first for me in both ways! This book was really, really funny and I couldnt put it down at times! I really want to read more of his comic strips, and I absolutley recomend this book to anyone and everyone!

The most often-asked question by my readers is how do I come up with my ideas. My answer is: Ideas are easy. There are probably a million of them. But turning an idea into a story that will have an editor willing to buy it, and readers turning the page to finish it, takes a lot more care and skill. Very often the beginning of a book, and the ending, come to me in a flash of inspiration. If only the rest of the book were that easy. It takes a great deal of discipline and determination to flesh out the characters, tell their story, and give them their satisfying ending.
Of course, being crazy helps. I do believe that most writers are a bit strange. It's what sets us apart from the rest. We're willing to live in our heads, have long conversations with people who exist only in our minds, and take such pleasure in telling their stories.
Most titles present themselves during the writing of the book. While writing this particular series, I called it my Fool's Gold series, which was inspired by Coot, that crazy grandfather who was scorned by all for wasting his life searching for something that might not even exist. The individual titles for each book were changed slightly (Montana was added to each) by my editor, to add continuity. It was a good move. She was right on the mark.
Of course, for those of us who don't live in Montana, the very word implies sweeping vistas, vast rangeland, and the real 'wild West'.

I thought this book was ok. It was an enjoyable read. It was also an easy one and it wasnt that long of a book either (336 pages). I really liked the Romance between Wyatt and Marilee it seemed like one of those really good and perfect romances. I will probaly read this book again. I would recomend this book to anyone.

It wasnt good and it wasnt bad, it was well written but I dont think I could relate to the characters that much and it not that I didnt enjoy this book its just that guess I wasnt impressed with the novel. This book was very, very good! It was beautifully written, I love how it was written from many different view points. It wasnt that long of a read either being that the book was only 262 pages. I could not put this book down at times! I enjoyed reading this book and I will be reading this book many times in the future because I really liked it and I recomend this book to everyone!

Life after college
This book was nice it was very informative and well written. I like how it was split into different chapeters with sections and each chapter was on a different topic. This book was long because it was 409 pages. I think this book would be a very useful guide and a nice gift for anyone who has graduated from college. I would recomend this book highly.

I was the kid in school who raced to get to English class, especially on Poetry day. There just wasn't anything better than standing in the front of an audience and reading moving prose. Of course, Sister Mary Elizabeth didn't consider Bad Company lyrics stunning verse, but I made sure to toss some Edgar Allen Poe into the pot for balance. The true thrill came from reading my own work. I still have every journal, and there were many, stashed away in my closet, each page filled with my careful script, i's dotted with hearts.

A paranormal romance (the first one of it's kind in the early eighties) but no one was interested, much to my shock and amazement. Will I admit it was a cheesy novel? Never! I still have it, dot matrix as black as the day it was first printed up.
Putting away my trusty Adam, I went on to bigger and better things, like marrying my childhood sweetheart and having three children. But I once read that authors don't choose to write; writing chooses them, and there were an endless store of characters in my head to prove it. So we traded in the Adam for an Apple. I promised my husband that I wouldn't be gone long, and off to Camelot I went. Most of me returned home, but there's a part that remained in the medieval world of knights, castles, and chivalry. I've since brought my family there and they love it as much as I do, although I suspect my husband was a crusader knight long before I envisioned him in a red cross tabard. But that's another story entirely. I think I'll write it in pen and dot my I's with hearts.
I'm a disgustingly sappy romantic moved by music, beautiful words, and the sight of a really nice pen. I live in Manhattan with my knight in shining armor. We have three beautiful children, two dogs and too many reptiles to count. I love to read romance and science fiction and have been writing since I was eleven. I'm a faithful believer in God and thank Him daily for all the blessings in my life. I love all things medieval, but it’s my love for Scotland that pulls at my heartstrings.

1. I realized yet again while writing Ravished by a Highlander, that a king plays a vital role in all my books. It began with William the Conqueror from my Risande trilogy. There was no ruling sovereign during Laird of the Mist but the MacGregors’ fate and proscription were the work of a king sixty years prior. Briefly, we met King Charles II in A Highland Never Surrenders, and in my new “Children of the Mist” series, King James has just been crowned. I don’t know what it is about kings, but I find myself always writing about them. Don’t even get me started on King Arthur.
2. I love to match my characters’ faces to real ones. Lots of authors do. A little quirk I have though is that, if the characters are related in my books, the faces I choose for them have to all resemble one another. Even if those faces are different for my readers, for me, they have to fit and be believable. Matching the MacGregors’ and Grants with their sons and daughter was especially fun. 3. Speaking of the real faces that have shaped my heroes and heroines, the beautiful Matthew “Jett” Schaefer, pilot/model/actor was the inspiration for Rob in Ravished by a Highlander. Sadly, Matthew passed away while I was writing the book. I didn’t know him, but he had become Rob for me and the tragedy of his death made it difficult at times to write Rob’s story. I thought about changing his face, but instead I researched Mr. Schaefer and discovered how well his family and friends loved him. He was a pilot and did Air Ambulance medical evacuations and Angel flights. He was a true hero and a determined warrior, fighting cancer until the end. I couldn’t think of a better man to be the face of Robert MacGregor.
4. The terrible proscription against the MacGregors had been lifted and most, not all, of their rights returned to them after the restoration of King Charles II. During the writing of this series, the MacGregors were not outlaws. That made this author happy.
5. A few mini-facts about me: 1) I come from Italian heritage on both sides, but my dad’s surname is Scottish and not Italian as everyone first believed. 2) I am what my Catholic characters would call a Protestant. 3) I would rather write a battle scene than a sex scene. 4) I fell, quite unexpectedly, in love with Finlay Grant in Ravished by a Highlander. 5) I go through three pairs of iPod headphones during the course of one book. (I either lose them or break them. A pair once fell into the toilet).
My Review:
I thought this book was good. I think I enjoyed it because it was a Historical Romance and Im a person who likes history and romance novels so this was a good book for me. I think this book is alot better than some of the other romance novels I read. It wasnt as graphic and this book was an wasy read and a long one (354 pages) I recomend this book to anyone.

I was the kid in school who raced to get to English class, especially on Poetry day. There just wasn't anything better than standing in the front of an audience and reading moving prose. Of course, Sister Mary Elizabeth didn't consider Bad Company lyrics stunning verse, but I made sure to toss some Edgar Allen Poe into the pot for balance. The true thrill came from reading my own work. I still have every journal, and there were many, stashed away in my closet, each page filled with my careful script, i's dotted with hearts.

I thought this book was good. The book was very well written and I liked it alot more than some of the other romance novels I have read. One reason I think I liked this book was thay it was a historical romance and it wasnt very graphic like the other romance novels I have read novel.
