Today I am reviewing The Sound and The Echoes by Dew Pellucid.

Dew Pellucid first started writing books so he could have something new to read. Indeed, of the million books at the Orphanage of Castaway Children, there isn't one his watery eyes had not perused; this taking place in less than a decade.

But now, as this old Echo draws near his one-hundredth birthday, his hunt for a good story is only rivaled by his everlasting quest after Cold Fire Mushrooms. For it was as he scrapped the bottom of his crystal ball mushroom container that Dew Pellucid first heard of Fredrick Fingeldy.

Then strange events began to happen in his beloved library. For those of you wondering about the dry, old facts behind Dew Pellucid, you should be aware that he is nothing more than a pen name creation, the figment of one Tal Boldo, a writer, a woman, and a lover of books (the latter being the only thing she actually shares in common with Mr. Pellucid).

So why didn't Ms. Boldo settle for a standard pen name like a normal author would? Because creating a whole person was so much more fun. And creating someone as unlike herself as could be was more fun still. Plus, there was a hidden reason in the story. But to know what that is, you'll have to read "The Sound & The Echoes" for yourself.

My review:

If you are a fan of YA and Harry Potter (like I am!) and other books along those lines I think you will enjoy this book as much as I did! The story line and characters are great! It makes you want to read this book and no stop but I decided to take my time with this book and not rush through it and enjoy as much of this fantasy world as I could for as long as I could! This book is a little long (582 pages) so I could of read it easily in one sitting but as I said above I didnt want too. Another charm to the book is the illustrations in this book! They are beautiful and really add on to the enjoyable experience of this book! I would highly reccomend this fun and enjoyable read to everyone!

My review:
I thought this audiobook was ok it was not one of my favorites although I did like it better than Trouble on his wings ( which is another audiobook I reviewed on here that is very simular). I did like the plot and I like the characters too. The narration was good and the cast was animated and made it feel like an old radio program which it should. The sound affects and music on this was good as well everything was in its correct place (no unnessecary music or sound affects). I would recomend this audiobook as I think some people out there may like it but it was not an audiobook for me.

My review:
What an enchanting romance novel this was! I loved reading it! The characters were good and so was the plot and its one of those sweet romance novels you cant help not to like. The plot is somewhat creative as well (I say somewhat because hidden idenities have been used in plots before). I was recomend this romance novel as it is a worthwhile read that anyone would really enjoy.

My review:
I thought this was an ok read. I mean the book kept me reading and interested but the characters and plot could have used a little more depth to them. Now I have not read 50 Shades but this book is compared to it so I dont know if that description is accurate or not. The cover sure does make you think its from the 50 Shades Trilogy because it looks like one of those books. Overall I was ok with reading this book given its content matter like I said it was an ok read not terrible but not great either. I guess I would recommend it because 50 Shades fans and fans of erotic fiction might like it.

Q&A:

Q: What made you want to write this book?

A: When women have affairs, does it really matter? I wanted to show how women have an advantage and can definitely blackmail men in the political arena. I had fun with these wealthy savvy women. Having money helps them to pursue what they want but it can't bail these women out of their personal relationship problems.

Q: How did you come up with the characters names?

A: It wasn't easy. Names, for me, must match the characters' personality. For example, Morgan, Brooks, and Storm are strong names. Hope is more compassionate. Some of the names were different initially but the characters weren't speaking to me under those names so I changed them. I also like names readers will remember.

My Review:
I thought this was an ok read. It is not for the faint of heart as it is an erotic novel. I thought it was ok because it wasnt terrible but it wasnt the greatest thing I had ever read either. The characters were good and the plot was interesting with lots of twist and turns that kept me interested and wanting to know what would happen in this book. The characters names I also found very interesting as well. This is not a book for everyone as I mentioned above so I would only recomend it for people who like this kind of novel!

Schledia Benefield is the author of Plain Jane, Pretty Boy, and her soon to be released novel, Wildflowers. She attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College but chose to be a stay-at-home mom for many years. She devoted eight years of her life to working with youth as a youth minister and has been invited to speak in a rehab to hurting and wounded women, giving them hope for a better future. She was the Keynote Speaker for Division 14 of the Key Club International’s divisional rally.
Born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Schledia holds a sense of pride in her southern heritage. She presently lives in Big Point, Mississippi with her husband and four of her five children. On top of writing novels, she writes youth and children’s church curriculum, and she works as a substitute teacher at East Central Middle School. In her spare time, she reads, sews, and spends time with her family.

Today I will be reviewing the book Heart of Ice by P.J. Parrish.

My review:
This was a very interesting and well written thriller. The plot and characters were good and well developed however I couldnt find myself conecting with them. While I enjoyed this read it wasnt one of my favorites and I dont think it was a book for me. I liked some of the other novels I read by this author better. I would reccomend it to die hard fans of this author and character or for people who like this genre but overall I would not recommend it.
