Overall thoughts:
I am a pet lover, as I have mentioned before. I have three dogs so I thought I would really like this book, that is why I chose to review it. On the whole I found the book to be ok. I liked the fact that Darcy narrated some of the story, but I think as with Tammy that is part of the issue with this book as a whole, she narrated some. Going back and fourth between the dog and human narration was ok at first, but then got boring, at least for me. I would have rather heard the whole story from one point of view rather than both at the same time. Another issue with this story is that I don't know why for some reason I didn't connect with Darcy so I lost interest in the story.
So would I recommend this book?
As I said above it was ok. It is a true story (at least the human part anyway). I normally like these kinds of books but in truth I can't recommend it. I don't think I got anything from reading it. If my readers think they would enjoy it. Then go for it, but the book was for me. I was disappointed.
