So for my 1st choice (and post) for the summer reading challenge, I picked The One and Only by Emily Giffin.

My Review:
So this book sounded really interesting and good form the description on the book but I was very disapointed with this book. It was well written and had a good premise but for me it morphed form a good book to a book that made me say "what the heck why would somebody write this trash"? kind of book.
The characters were ok but I kind of really couldnt connect with any of them and didnt like any of them. The problem I think here is that mainly many of the situations or events in the book I didnt see actually happening in somebody's real life and some of the events that did I thought were very disgusting also. I would explain more about this last statement but I dont want to spoil the book for anybody who would like to read it. I mean I know that things like violence in a relationship can and do haappen (Shea experiencences this in the book) and I feel sorry for that, no one should ever go through that. What Im refering to here is that she gets invovled with another character romantically in the book and I didnt like that relationship and thought it was gross and basically it spoiled the whole book for me.
Also in the end I found this book rather boring and I found myself sorry that I had chosen this book.
I will make one positive comment I liked the cover I thought it was very cute and appealing but I dont understand the title choice either.
My final verdict:
I hate sports but like others every now and then I enjoy a good Football story, but sadly this wasnt one of those inspirational football stories and I would not recommend this book to anyone for what it is.
